Practice Manager

The role of practice manager exists to oversee operations of all three clinics. The practice manager works closely with the owner to ensure the company is headed in a direction of success and consistently operates in a way that aligns with the mission of the practice. This role entails all aspects of veterinary administration, including but not limited to human resources, product pricing and placement, accounting, and general management.
This position follows a Monday – Friday model, with weekends and holidays off. The manager should expect to work 7:45 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.. This is an on-site position, in a climate-controlled office. Even though this position is behind the scenes, it is important for the practice manager to engage with clients and staff in a friendly manner throughout the day. At times, it may be necessary for the manager to assist in animal procedures, housekeeping, and at the front desk.

Duties
Hire and perform onboarding procedures for new employees
Work with practice owner to ensure operational success
Work with accountant to reconcile all accounts and ensure accuracy of current balances
Oversee budget and finance activities
Handle client complaints
Set and adjust compensation packages for all employees
Visit all clinics weekly to provide support
Process day end deposits
Process inventory invoices
Engage in Public Relations/Marketing activities
Keep meticulous track of all records
Provide support to all employee requests
Acquire and keep current knowledge of veterinary practice regulations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Administration, or related field
Previous management experience preferred
Working knowledge all business disciplines
At least three years customer service or administrative experience
